=======================
Getting Started
=======================
The first and foremost thing you need in order to utilize these BDX files is a Nintendo DS Flash Cart.
Some flash carts have had their firmware updated to run Jam With the Band, but some still require a fix,
so if your cart cannot run Jam With the Band, you can either check to see if there is a new firmware
update, wait for a firmware update, or play Daigasso! Band Brothers DX in the meantime.

The next thing you'll need is either BDX Tool or DX Degausser.
BDX Tool is easier to use with Jam With the Band, but only allows a maximum of 50 songs to be loaded
into a save file.
DX Degausser is harder to use with Jam With the Band, and will require you to perform some extra steps
to add songs to a save file, but will allow you to add up to 200 songs to the save.

=======================
BDX Tool
=======================
BDX Tool is created by Yasu, a Japanese user who requires BDX Tool to be downloaded from his
website and unlocked with a key that the website will provide. BDX Tool is much easier to use than
DX Degausser, is more stable, and the easier option for users of Jam With the Band. However,
it does have it's downsides. You can only load BDX files into the FIRST 50 slots of BDX Tool if you are
using Jam With the Band (any songs in other slots will not be displayed) and 100 slots if you are playing
DBBDX.

How to download BDX Tool:
Step 1: http://home.usay.jp/pc/etc/nds/
Step 2: Ctrl+F bdxtool(08/07/31 24:00)
Step 3: Click the underlined bdxtool
Step 4: Save and extract the contents of the folder
Step 5: Open BDX Tool, then copy the text shown
Step 6: Paste the text into the empty box below where you clicked on the website and click GET
Step 7: Save the key file in the same folder as BDX Tool

How to use BDX Tool:
Step 1. Open a Daigasso! Band Brothers DX (J) or Jam With the Band (E) save file from the file menu.
Step 2: Click on an empty slot and click Import
Step 3: Select a BDX file
Step 4: Repeat untill you have imported all the BDX files you want (you can import more than 1 at a time)
Step 5: Remember that JWTB can only read songs inserted into the first 50 slots!
Step 6: Save the save file and quit.
Step 7: Make sure your save has the same name as your NDS file, copy it to your card and play!

=======================
DX DEGAUSSER
=======================
DX Degausser is much more difficult to use for players of Jam With the Band (though DBBDX players
just have to download it, read the readme, load their save and add songs) because Jam With the Band
uses either a 16MB or 32MB save file, depending on which kind of flash cart you have, and DX
Degausser only accepts 8MB save files. Please follow the "How to use DX Degausser" instructions
based on which game you are running, as the extended steps only apply to Jam With the Band.

Step 2: Back up your save (just in case)
Step 3. Unzip HJ-Split and copy your save to the HJ-Split folder
Step 4: Start program "hjsplit.exe" and select "split".
Step 5: Select "input file" and select your save file. Double-click it or hit open.
Step 6: Where it says "Split file size" type in "8" and in the drop-down menu select "Mbytes".
Step 7: Select "Start". Now there should be two/four new files in the unzip folder named
"[filename].sav.001" and so on (depending on what your save size is and therefore how many parts
were created)
Step 8: Close program.
Step 9: Start program "degausser.exe" and go to File > Open SAV > and select "[filename].nds.sav.001".
(Note that you need to change the files of type from "SAV Files (*.sav)" to "All Files (*.*)".)
Step 10: Add songs!
Step 11: When finished, save the save and start up "hjsplit.exe" and select "join".
Step 12: Select "input file" and select "[filename].sav.001". Double-click it or hit open.
Step 13: Change location of the output file or else it will overwrite the old 16/32MB save file.
Step 14: Select "Start"
Step 15: Move save file back to microSD card and enjoy!

(Note: The preview functions of BDX Tool and DX Degausser use your internal system midi player, so
the songs will sound much better in-game)

the Band/Daigasso! Band Brothers DX!
